Calistoga Ranch destination wedding

A romantic destination wedding at Calistoga Ranch located within the vineyards and hills of Calistoga California in early 2010. The wedding flower arrangements were composed of strong rich colors like deep burgundy, oranges, greens and yellow using; roses, , spray roses, mini callas, hypericum berries, , forsythia, carnations, key limes, rose petals and James Storie orchids.


The ceremony took place above the pond in the mid afternoon. A bamboo Chuppah decorated with traditional fabric and flowers set behind the bride and groom. Along the sides of the wedding Chuppah along the lawn were multiple shepherd hooks with hanging floral pomander balls and rose petals scattered down the aisle.
The bridal bouquet was a medium rounded hand tied gathering of rich burgundy roses with accents of rusty orange spray roses, green berries, burgundy James Storie orchids and deep red mini callas. The stems were hand tied with an ivory ribbon and studded with pearl headed pins.
The groom and groomsmen all wore a small boutonniere made of orange spray roses accented with a green hypericum berries and a James Storie orchids. The boutonnieres were hand tied with a thin ivory ribbon.

The reception took place in the Calistoga Ranch wine cave. The guests and the wedding party were seated at 2 kings tables. Tall glass vases filled with green key limes and  with burgundy James Storie orchids branching out of the top of the vase creating dramatic centerpieces to contrast the wine caves decor.
