Paradise Ridge Winery May 2011 Peony wedding flowers

An incredible springtime destination wedding at Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa Ca. The stunning bride wore a Vera Wang flowing ivory wedding gown that was perfectly complimented by her peony wedding flower theme. Based upon tones of pink and ivory, bold accents of navy blue and apple green were added in to create this elegant wedding with a kick.
The brides bouquet was composed of ivory and blush pink peonies hand tied with an ivory satin ribbon and studded with pearl headed pins. For her bridesmaids a small gathering of pink peonies were hand tied with a navy ribbon to tie in with the dresses. The grooms boutonniere was a small peony bud. All of the groomsmen wore rose boutonnieres with a sprig of freesia bud to tie in with there navy suits and navy and pink striped ties.
The sunny outdoor ceremony was decorated with large pomander balls made up of pink carnations.Small button mum pomander balls were hung with navy blue ribbon on the chairs down the aisle to add a pop of color. At the alter 2 huge ceremony arrangements rested upon wine barrels. Pink hydrangea, peonies, blush roses and greenery and curly willow branch were arranged on top of clear glass vases to add a bit of color to the natural green setting.
Navy linens covered the reception tables along with candle light and pink and green centerpieces made of pink hydrangea, pink peonies, blush roses, greenery and curly willow branch. The centerpieces ranged in height throughout the reception to add dimension to the room. The head table was lined with bouquets and candles along with a scattering of green button mums. Lit paper lanterns were strung on the deck for a romantic evening glow and perfect setting to end the night.
